The calendar has been updated. Please look at the calendar for the months of June and July. There have been some updates. Some weeks there will be alternating Brass and Woodwind Days followed by “All” rehearsals on Thursdays. Colorguard and Drumline practice schedules will be separate, however likely on those same days (Tuesday and/or Wednesdays). “All” practices are with everyone (including Colorguard and Drumline).
For the purposes of “absence requests,” the Lehi Parades on Friday evening and Saturday morning at the end of June are two separate parades however due to them being back to back if you absolutely cannot be there that weekend, I will count them as only “1″ parade. I hope this helps some of you.

Below are the positions and names for the upcoming 2014 marching band season. The decision this year of who the drum majors would be was by far the most difficult it has ever been for me. Choosing the individuals that contain the right mix of strengths and weakness for the collective whole that I feel will best lead the band is not an easy task. We had the most individuals tryout that we have ever had, but despite this I didn’t feel, no matter how many times I tried, that I had the right mix to make it amazing. This band deserves amazing and so I cannot compromise even in the least. I wanted to have the right leadership for this year but also look ahead and start building for the seasons to come as well. I also wanted to maximize the talents of certain individuals for the betterment of the band but develop further talents that I see in each individual at the same time. In the end, to accomplish this, I chose a drum major that did not audition as well as one that vocally announced that she would prefer not to be considered. I have discussed my decision with both of them at length and have gained their FULL support. Make no mistake, they are VERY excited! I chose them because they are absolutely the best choices in this particular situation. I chose a non-auditionee three years ago and it was absolutely the right choice for the band as well as for the individuals impacted by the decision. I am confident in this decision and I have the full support of the other drum majors and the staff. I ask for your continued support as well.
Thank you to all those who have the desire to serve. Thank you for all those who auditioned and submitted letters for consideration. I’m honored that you would all give so much of yourselves above and beyond that which is required. Congratulations to all those who were chosen. I wish I had more positions to fill for the others. I look forward to working with you all next year. Now, On With The Show!
